Will Keane has signed a short term contract with the Premier League and can be selected for the match against Crewe Alexandra.
Former Manchester United striker Will Keane has returned to Wigan Athletic.
Will Keane, 27, has a short-term contract with the Latics until Jan. 9.
He returns to the club, where he was briefly on loan in 2013, where he played just four goalless goals.
The striker, who trained with Latix during the preseason and played friendly against the Bolton Wanderers and Bradford City, will host Wigan in the first division against Crewe Alexandre tomorrow.
Will Keane, the twin brother of Everton and English defender Michael, had success at Old Trafford, winning the 2011 FA FA Cup.
He played just three times for United’s first team, and his time at Old Trafford included four loans in the league, including Wigan.
He also had loans from QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End.
Will Keane left United in 2016 for Hull City in Yorkshire, where he made 26 appearances in two and a half seasons, scoring just once.
He moved to Ipswich on loan in January 2019 and scored three times in 12 games, but failed to prevent the Tractor Boys from being relegated to the first division.
He also spent last season on Portman Road, scoring six goals in 29 games, and retired in the summer when his contract expired.
Will Keane will wear the No. 10 jersey for Wigan.
